Property Onboarding Checklist
Getting your property live on Wink involves several steps. This guide gives you a clear checklist so nothing gets missed.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You’ll need:
- A Wink account. Create one here if you don’t have one.
- Photos of your property, rooms, and facilities.
- Your rate and availability information.
- Your cancellation and payment policies.
The onboarding journey
Section titled “The onboarding journey”-
Create your property — Go to https://extranet.wink.travel and register your property. The onboarding wizard will guide you through the basics: property name, type, address, and contact details.

Complete your profile — Add your property description, social media links, and general manager information. A complete profile builds trust with travelers and affiliates. See Profile.

Upload photos and videos — Add high-quality images for your property and each room type. Properties with good photos convert significantly better. See Photos & Videos.

Set up your guest rooms — Create room types with bed configurations, max occupancy, and room-specific amenities. See Guest Rooms.

Add amenities — Select the amenities your property offers (Wi-Fi, parking, pool, etc.). These are used for search filtering and display. See Amenities.

Configure rate plans — Set up at least one rate plan with a cancellation policy and any meal inclusions. See Rate Plans.

Set master rates — Enter your daily prices for each room type and rate plan combination. See Master Rates.

Add your policies — Define your house policies (check-in/out times, pet policy, smoking, etc.). See Policies.

Set up a sales channel — Activate the Wink Network to make your property visible to affiliates, or create direct channels for specific partners.

Map your location — Pin your property on the map so it appears in location-based searches. See Map Location.

Review your dashboard — Check the Dashboard for profile suggestions. The progress ring shows your completion percentage.
Optional but recommended
Section titled “Optional but recommended”These steps are not required to go live but will improve your visibility and conversion:
- Add facilities — Restaurants, spas, meeting rooms, activities, and attractions. Each becomes a bookable or browsable item. See Restaurants, Spas, Meeting Rooms.
- Add welcome text — A personalized message from the general manager. See Welcome Text.
- Complete the Green Index — Answer sustainability questions to earn a green score. See Green Index.
- Add recognition — Awards, certifications, and badges. See Recognition.
- Enable CalDAV sync — Keep your external calendar in sync. See Syncing Your Calendar with CalDAV.
Going live
Section titled “Going live”Once your profile, rooms, rates, and at least one sales channel are configured, your property is live. Travelers can find and book you through the Wink booking engine, affiliate links, and partner channels.
