Mapping Your Inventory

When you add inventory to your property on the Extranet — rooms, restaurants, spas, meeting rooms, activities, and more — that inventory becomes available across the Wink ecosystem. This guide explains how the pieces connect.

Extranet (you create) → Booking Engine (travelers see) → Studio (affiliates sell)
  1. You create inventory on the Extranet — room types, facilities, and experiences.
  2. Travelers browse that inventory on the booking engine through shareable links, cards, or direct searches.
  3. Affiliates discover your inventory on Studio, create cards and grids, and sell it to their audience.

Room types are the core of your inventory. Each room type needs:

  • A name and description.
  • Bed configuration(s).
  • Maximum occupancy (adults and children).
  • Room-specific amenities.
  • Photos.
  • At least one rate plan with master rates.

Without rates, a room type exists but won’t be bookable.

Beyond rooms, you can list:

Each facility type has its own section in the Extranet. Affiliates can sell any of these individually — a traveler might discover your property through a spa listing rather than a room search.

On Studio, affiliates can:

  • Search for your property or individual inventory items.
  • Create cards — A single bookable card for a room, spa treatment, or activity.
  • Create grids — A collection of cards shown together.
  • Create maps — Location-based markers that show bookable inventory.
  • Share links — Direct URLs to your property or specific items.

The more complete and varied your inventory, the more ways affiliates can promote your property.

  • Be thorough — List everything your property offers. Each item is a potential entry point for a booking.
  • Use good photos — Every inventory item should have at least one high-quality image.
  • Keep descriptions fresh — Update descriptions when you change offerings or seasonally.
  • Price everything — Inventory without pricing can be browsed but not booked.
