Get Listed on Google

If you haven’t already signed up your property on Wink, you want to read this first.

This article shows you how easy it is to get your property listed on Google Maps and other Google Hotel didigtal real estate with Wink.

It’s recommended that you’ve already read:

• Extranet > Network.

Here are the steps to successfully use TripPay to pay for a booking:

1. Log into your account at https://extranet.wink.travel.
2. Choose the property you want to work with.
3. Click on Distribution > Explore Network from the top navigation bar.
4. Scroll down to Affiliates.
5. In the Name filter, type in Google.
6. Click on the search result by the name of Google.
7. This takes you to the Google performance overview.
8. Scroll to the bottom and click the Activate button.

Confirm sales channel creation

By clicking Yes, you create a new sales channel for Google, at 0% commission and using the same membership discount that you applied to Wink Network.

Note

Give Google some time to grab your rates and data. This process is not immediate. Your property should be up and running within a 24 hour period or sooner.

That’s it! That’s all you need to do get your property listed on Google Maps etc with Wink. When a Google Maps user clicks on your link, she will be taken to your booking engine landing page on Wink to finalize the booking.

Pro Tip

This is a free listing and there is never a need, nor can you, get better placement on Google by increasing the amount of commission on this sales channel.

Keep in mind, Wink holds your official site badge. Please make sure to disable any other rate provider you use to get on Google, that also has the official site badge, to avoid confusion.
