For anyone using WordPress for their business or blog, we highly recommend using the Wink Affiliate WordPress Plugin. The plugin gives you easy access to your Wink cards, grids, maps etc, and makes it as simple as dragging content into your posts and pages using your favorite page builder or our custom shortcodes.

Install

This is how you install the Wink Affiliate WordPress Plugin into your WordPress website.

1. When you are logged in as an administrator and on the Dashboard.
2. Click Plugins > Add New Plugin.
3. Search for Wink Affiliate WordPress Plugin.
4. Click Install to download and install the plugin into your site.
5. Click Activate to activate the plugin on your site.
6. Activation will forward you the Wink Settings page. You can also go there by navigating to Appearance > Customize > Wink Settings.
7. It will ask you for your Client ID and Client Secret. Go to Applications to learn how to retrieve your credentials.
8. Enter your credentials and click Publish. You are now connected to your Wink account.

Page builders

We support the most popular page builders on WordPress that makes it easy for anyone that want to use Wink.

Gutenberg

Gutenberg is the native editor from WordPress.

Avada

Avada is famous for its large selection of beautiful templates along with a robust page builder with an advanced feature set.

Elementor

Elementor is the [currently] most popular page builder with both a free and pro version available.

WPBakery

WPBakery was the first advanced page builder on the market.

Short codes

[winklookup]

Works with ranked content grid. Type in a place you want to visit and have inventory displayed.

[winksearch]

Simple button to open up itinerary form.

[winkaccount]

Account button to let you authenticate. Once authenticated, it turns into a dropdown with account options.

[winkitinerary]

Same as search button, only it contains itinerary information as button text.

[winkcontent]

Lets you embed the inventory you’ve selected on Wink directly into a page or post. This shortcode also expects a layout ID.
