This article covers the full booking process on Wink.

How to book

Once you find the property and room you want to book, click the Book button to get started.

  1. Click the Book button.
  2. The room configurator window opens. Figure 1
  3. Choose the options available for that room. Figure 2
  4. Click Log in to continue when ready.
  5. If this is your first time on Wink, you need to create an account.
  6. Fill in your payment details. Figure 3
  7. Click Pay button to finalize booking.

Configurator

The room configurator gives you the opportunity to choose options for, and alongside, the room. Be on the lookout for great deals from hotels here by scrolling down to see everything they offer.

Options

Common options include:

  • Cancellation policy
  • Meals
  • Bed preferences
  • Special requests

Other options include:

  • In-room ancillaries.
  • Other add-ons
  • Special deals for facilities and experiences:
    • Spa sessions.
    • Restaurant deals.
    • Book meeting rooms.
    • Book activities.
    • …and a lot more!!

Payment

Now it’s time to pay. Choose the payment method that works for you and click to Pay.

Once you’ve paid, you’re redirected to a booking confirmation page that you can print out. You will also receive an email that contains everything you need to know about the booking.

Manage bookings

You can see your past and future bookings by clicking on your profile icon, in the top-right corner of the page, followed by clicking on Bookings. A window opens displaying your bookings in ascending order.

Cancel a booking

If you want to cancel a booking, follow these steps:

  1. Select the booking you want to cancel. You can do that by either:
    • Click on Manage booking link from the confirmation e-mail you received.
    • Go to manage bookings on https://ota.wink.travel and click the Bookings link that was mentioned in the previous section.
  2. Click the Cancel button. Cancel button is disabled if you can no longer cancel the booking.
  3. Tell us the reason for why you have to cancel and click Submit.
  4. Based on the cancellation policy, the full or partial amount is refunded to you.

Request a refund

Under certain circumstances, you can request a refund, after the cancellation policy expired.

Please contact the hotel and explain the situation. The hotel will request the refund on your behalf.

Write a review

Once the trip has come to an end [and you need a vacation from the vacation], we will e-mail you asking you please to write a review for the property you stayed at.

Here’s how you write a review for the property:

  1. Click the link in e-mail we sent you.
  2. You might have to log back into Wink.
  3. The link takes you to the booking confirmation page.
  4. Click Write review button.
  5. Complete the 5 multiple-choice questions.
  6. Write a brief sentence(s) about your stay.
  7. Click the Submit button.

Reviews are a great way for properties to get recognized that doesn’t come with a price tag.
